Autumn 2021 - Coloring contest

This autumn 2021, Perifmedia offered to his readers something new to experience, and many took their colored pencils to participate in a coloring contest!

Little ones or grown-ups, beginners or pros, lived a meditative and artistic experience, with all their hearts and away from computer monitors and TV screens! We are so happy and impressed by the results, we received more than fifty colored sheets. We share with you the names of the winners and also all the colored sheets that we received from our readers!

LENT 2021 - REFLEXIONS IN THREE DIMENSIONS

To make our walk towards Easter lively, to work with one's whole being and let oneself be moved by the force of an image, this artistic Lent program has been offered to us. Three classic, well-known scenes, three dimensions that make up each of our lives were presented in order to revisit them from within.

At three different times during this Lent, we have been invited to contemplate, meditate and relive scenes of the Stations of the Cross with a different artistic approach for each.

A taste of heaven !

On March 12, March 26 and April 9, 2021, we welcomed in our virtual kitchen about a hundred guests for A Taste of Heaven event.

Food serves as fuel for the body, but the aromas and flavors have a direct effect on the mind. A Taste of Heaven is a web-based gathering where guests share cooking tips over a dish in order to stimulate and inspire conversation. The table is set for a sharing of recipes and experiences on the themes of sweet, salty and bitter.

During each of these meetings, three special guests shared a recipe with us as well as their experiences. Like the Bible's stories that served as a source of teaching, our guests were able to talk about inspiring stories.

le grand Romancier 2.jpg

the great novelist

agape, July 13th 2019

The fraternal meal transcends the simple act of eating together: it is a celebration, a privileged moment where there is authenticity, trust and a time for giving and sharing the Gospel message and pray together. At the time of the first Christians, agape allowed everyone to strengthen their faith in contact with others.

Dance workshop with Ana Bolt-Turrall

Ana Bolt-Turrall is a dance teacher in Florida, and recently completed a master's degree on the importance of movement expression through a mature body. She had us participate in a workshop to make us live, through dance, an original experience of interiority by the body movement. The Bolt Movement highlights the importance of art in expressing the experience of faith. We invite you to read his blog "Temple of God" on Périfmédia.

THe Angelus on the Web

For centuries, Christians have honored the Mother of God by the prayer of the Angelus. Every hour, the clock strikes noon somewhere in the world and reminds us of this extraordinary news of the coming of our Lord.

In May 2015 and 2017, seven parishes from four countries answered our call and through the "Midday Carillon", hundreds of faithful prayed the Angelus with them!
